Our Collaborative Contributors are an important part of must! charities. They share their gifts in service to our mission through their professional expertise, diverse knowledge of local perspectives, connections to local and national resources, and more.
The following are locally known leaders in their industry and in our community. They have displayed a willingness to serve and make a difference for those less fortunate in our community.

Jacob Allred | Product Line Manager at Weatherford
Jacob was moved to the central coast in 2001 and has since made it his home. Besides being involved in designing software for global use, he also is with the Library board in Paso Robles, donates his time to local homeless organizations, president of Toastmasters club 83, and is a graduate of North Country Leadership (class 3). Jacob believes that bettering the community we all share is a top priority for himself and goes beyond enriching the lives of his family, neighbors, or coworkers, which makes the central coast what it is today.

Justin Bell | Senior Business Specialist at Wells Fargo
Justin is a Senior Business Banker with Wells Fargo Bank, serving the banking needs of businesses and consumers for over 10 years. As a lifelong resident of Paso Robles he appreciates all aspects of Central Coast living. Both on the Coast as well as Internationally Justin has been recognized as go-to expert in the Craft Beer Industry, and has turned his acute knowledge of craft beer, wine and spirits into a respected and profitable online business. When he’s not working at the bank or blogging, Justin enjoys getting out in the beautiful California weather to Barbeque and smoke anything from vegetables to Kobe steaks. Justin has an overabundance of passions, involving both business and pleasure. After work hours he is involved in various services and non-profit organizations in the local community. Participating in organizations like Must Charities and the local Chamber are just a few of the ways he spends his free time. Justin is a graduate of last year’s North County Leadership program, where he developed relationships and skills that help him to be a better neighbor and all around human being.

Lori Bickel | Community Leader & Philanthropist
Lori has lived on Central Coast since 1978. She majored in Graphic Communications at Cal Poly and then worked at Tintype Graphic Arts. Lori and her husband Mike moved to Atascadero in 1990, where they have raised their two children, now 22 and 20. Lori has volunteered and worked within the school system since her daughter started kindergarten, and she has seen many children struggle and fall through the cracks because they have little support outside of the classroom--either because parents are too busy making ends meet, or because they have no home at all. Lori first identified with must! charities because of its mission to bridge the gap for these kids. She believes the North County community will prosper when we are able to take care of ALL of our children.

Cara Crye | CEO of Farm Supply Company
Cara is the President/CEO for Farm Supply Company, a 2600 farmer-owned cooperative that has been serving the Central Coast since 1950. She joined Farm Supply in 1996 while attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she obtained her B.S. Degree in Agricultural Science in 2001. She is a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program and Leadership SLO. Cara is a third generation native of the County. She is passionate about giving back to this community that has given her so much. Specifically, she is concerned about our youth being given every opportunity to excel and lead successful lives! Thanks to her family and experiences throughout her life she has a deep appreciation for agriculture and the benefits of 4-H and FFA programs. She is on advisory boards for Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo High Schools Agriculture Education Departments and is the Secretary/Treasure of the Edna Farm Center.

Morgan Dewar | Strategic Initiatives Coordinator at JB Dewar
Morgan was born and raised on the Central Coast, attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Communication. Morgan is currently the Strategic Initiatives Coordinator for JB Dewar Inc., a family owned, fourth generation business serving the Central Coast by distributing fuel and lubricants for 85 years. Morgan grew up in the giving back way of life. She is a passionate advocate of community involvement, dedicating time and efforts towards multiple organizations that support industries such as agriculture and education.

Jordan Fiorentini | Vice President of Winemaking & Vineyards at Epoch Estate Wines
Jordan Fiorentini is the VP of Winemaking and Vineyards at Epoch Estate Wines in Paso Robles and has been in the Paso area since 2010. She has been working in wineries since the after obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 1999. Jordan holds a masters degree in Viticulture & Enology from UC Davis and has worked in many different winemaking areas from Italy to California. In the upcoming phase of her career, she’d like to spend more time giving back to her community, where she and her husband, Manu, are raising their two daughters.

Nancy Fiske | Realtor at Platinum Properties
Nancy Fiske has lived in Paso Robles and the Central Coast for over 30 years. She is involved in her local community and has been an active supporter of the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador and as Chair of Women in Business for two years. In Templeton she is a Charter Member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Templeton and is a past Chair of Templeton Women in Business and past member of the Templeton Chamber Board of Directors.

Koene Graves | Collaborative Contributor
Koene was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, graduated from Antioch College in Ohio, received her master’s degree from the University of Michigan, and returned to the west coast to pursue a 10 year career in public administration for the State of California in Sacramento. She then married John Graves and joined his financial firm in Southern California. After buying land in Paso Robles in 1982, they moved their company, GCFS, Inc., here, built their Paso Robles home, planted a 60 acre vineyard and raised their son. After John’s untimely death in 2010, Koene continued operating GCFS until selling it in 2017. Now retired, she enjoys travel, keeping up with her large extended family and circle of friends, and giving back to the North County community.

Katie Hayward | Owner of Uncorked Wine Tours
Katie is a local native, born and raised in Atascadero. After graduating from High School, Katie wanted to stay on the Central Coast. She attended Cal Poly and received her Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing. Katie did spend a quick stent in San Francisco and the Virgin Islands to get a different living perspective, but her heart called her home to the Central Coast. Katie worked at a local community bank in commercial lending for 5 years. Uncorked Wine Tours was born in 2009, when the need for transportation in the wine industry arose. Katie volunteers for many local organizations and always strive to give back to the wonderful community she was lucky enough to be raised in. She is thrilled to be a part of must! charities.

Steven Herring | Owner of All About Events
Steven was born and raised in Atascadero. After graduating from high school, he attended college and graduated from Allan Hancock Firefighter 1 Academy. While applying for different fire departments and agencies, he worked full time as a Field Foreman for a directional drilling company and went to school at nights to achieve his EMT certificate, though his heart was always set on being an Entrepreneur of his own successful business. He found a need for a QUALITY event rental company so he decided to pursue his dream and started Party Partners Rental. While working full time and providing for his family, he focused on building a successful business and looks forward to watching it grow in the years to come.

Lisa Jensen | Co-Owner at Booker Wines
Lisa Jensen was raised in Boulder, Colorado and moved to Southern California in 1988 to attend college. Several years later she met husband, Eric, while living in Newport Beach and eventually made the central coast their permanent home. After relocating to Paso Robles in 2001, with their young family, the Jensen's created Booker Vineyard and Winery. In addition to her responsibilities at Booker, Lisa has spent the last 15 years volunteering for her kid's schools and athletic teams. She is excited to continue giving back to our amazing community through must! charities.

Tim Kensinger | Vice President at Farm Credit West
Tim is the Vice President of Capital Market Sales at Farm Credit West (FCW), in charge of selling and purchasing into Large Corporate Food & Ag loan syndications across the country. Farm Credit West is a $9.1 billion agricultural lending institution that is member owned with an office in Templeton and Paso Robles. FCW was once headquartered in Arroyo Grande and lends to most of the farmers and ranchers in San Luis Obispo County. Tim has been with Farm Credit for eleven years, having joined right after graduating from Cal Poly with a B.S. in Agricultural Business in 2005. Tim is a native of the county, born in San Luis Obispo and raised in Arroyo Grande. He is involved with the Farm Bureau, Cuesta College, Food Bank, a member of Leadership SLO class 25, and a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School with honors. Tim has the privilege of being directly involved with financing some of the most dynamic farming operations in the world right here in the North County of San Luis Obispo.

Sabrina Kruse | Owner at Kruse Ventures
Sabrina Kruse | Jack Creek Cellars - President of the Board Sabrina Kruse and her husband Doug bought land in Templeton, CA in 1997 to establish a successful vineyard and winery, Jack Creek Cellars. Along the way, the couple has established strong community roots. With two children attending Templeton public schools, Sabrina is active in the school district. She worked with three other parents to found the Artistic Resources Team (A.R.T.) for Children in 2009, a non-profit focused on keeping an enriched arts education in Templeton’s curriculum. In 2004, her family also established the Carolyn S. Kruse Foundation, which has gifted more than $450,000 to various organizations in the Central Coast, the Central Valley and Kansas. She has worked to establish must! charities since 2009, which has evolved from a concept to an exciting, attainable actuality. Sabrina is committed to must! charities not only financially, but also in the development, promotion and execution of its mission.

Lisa Lewis | Realtor at Remax Parkside
Lisa J. Lewis grew up in southern California and moved to San Luis Obispo County in 1996. Lisa wanted to raise her children in a rural area where she could dedicate herself to raising her family. As her children grew, Lisa became heavily involved in real estate investing which ultimately lead her into full time real estate sales in 2003. Lisa is a top producing agent with Re/Max Parkside in downtown Paso Robles. Lisa is an active member in the community including being a member of the Templeton Rotary, Atascadero Chamber of Commerce where she was an Ambassador, and a Founding Member of the Atascadero Women in Business. Lisa is excited to continue giving back to our amazing community and spreading the message of must! charities!

Heather Smith | Co-Founder of Saxum Vineyards
Heather and her husband Justin own Saxum Vineyards. She and her family live in the North County region of San Luis Obispo County. Heather has been involved with numerous charities and has a great reputation for giving back to others.

Peggy Zappas | Co-Owner at Z Villages
Peggy moved to Atascadero in 1992 with her husband, Mike, and their 4 young children(ages 2,4,7 & 9). A retired flight attendant, Peggy, jumped into the hospitality side of PTA as well as volunteering in the classroom of each of their 4 children. Years later, when an empty nest settled in, she had the time to use her energy for her fitness passion. She swims with K-man Masters and regularly bikes the back roads throughout the county year round. Peggy & Mike support several local non profits. In addition, she supports and encourages her husband in their property development projects, including their last project in the heart of downtown Atascadero…La Plaza.
